What Entertains the Audience :-
Once again, comedian Satya steals the show with his impeccable comedic timing, effortlessly drawing laughter from the audience with his innocent portrayal and expressive gestures.
Despite having limited screen time, Sunil delivers a noteworthy performance in the latter portion of the film, adding to the amusement with his playful antics.
Anjali delivers a satisfactory performance in her role, buoyed by a talented ensemble cast including Srinivasa Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, and Shakalaka Shankar. Ravi Shankar and Priya excel in their portrayal of ghosts, further enhancing the film's entertainment value. Particularly, the comedy sequences set within the ghostly palace are highly effective, offering a plethora of laughs, especially towards the latter part of the movie.
What makes Audience to think :-
The film's main story plot heel lies in its predictable and unoriginal plot, which fails to inject much-needed excitement into this horror-comedy venture.
Although the comedy scenes thrive, the character development of the antagonist, portrayed by Rahul Madhav, remains underdeveloped, leaving untapped potential.
Supporting actors like Ali and Srikanth Iyengar are underutilized, their roles lacking depth. Furthermore, Anjali's character suffers from insufficient screen time, a surprising oversight.
The subplot involving the ghosts could have been concluded more effectively, with the climax feeling forced and lacking conviction. Despite providing entertainment, many scenes feel overly familiar and fail to leave a lasting impact.
What's into Technical :-
Director Shiva Turlapati's applausable efforts are hindered by senior writer Kona Venkat's neglect of the story and screenplay, which diminishes the overall impact. A more concentrated focus on these aspects could have significantly elevated the film's quality.
Pravin Lakkaraju's music contributes occasional thrills, while Sujatha Siddhartha's cinematography could have been more captivating to fully engage the audience. Chota K Prasad's editing is satisfactory, and the production values meet expectations.
RK's (Reviewer) Verdict :-
"Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi" brings laughs but lacks in delivering scares. Satya's comedic talent shines, complemented by Sunil's noteworthy performance. Although Anjali performs well, the film's predictable plot, underdeveloped characters, and lackluster climax are notable weaknesses.
