Ravi Teja is set to star in "Mr. Bachchan," directed by Harish Shankar. The film is an official remake of the successful Bollywood movie "Raid," originally starring Ajay Devgn. This collaboration marks the duo's third venture together following "Shock" and "Mirapakay," where Harish Shankar showcased Ravi Teja in a distinctive light, earning praise from fans.
With the 30-day Lucknow schedule wrapped up, Harish Shankar recently shared a glimpse from the set, signaling the next phase to be in Hyderabad. The film's release is eagerly anticipated, given the director's track record of presenting Ravi Teja uniquely. The tagline "Naam Tho Suna Hoga" adds to the intrigue.
"Mr. Bachchan" draws inspiration from the real-life income-tax raid on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh, spanning three days, making it the longest raid in Indian history. Jagapathi Babu is set to play a pivotal role in the movie. Produced by T Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla under the People Media Factory banner, the film features Bhagyashri Borse, known for "Yaariyan 2," as the female lead, with Mickey Meyer composing the music.
